Which Quality Inspections Do PEL Offer?

PEL’s well-trained inspection team provide precise and prompt quality inspection services for our clients.

Quality Risk Management

Quality risk management is a systematic, risk-based approach to quality management. In the eyewear industry, it is very important to carry out quality risk management from design and development to production to reduce unexpected quality problems, or take appropriate measures to reduce the impact on customers when quality problems occur. The initial investment in the risk management process will prevent the loss of time, money, brand image due to unanticipated product failures.

Quality risk management is important because it can facilitate better and more informed decisions. With QRM, decision-making has the following qualities:

  • Decisions are data-driven instead of subjective.
  • The potential impact on the lives of consumers is prioritized.

PEL team can help you to do a good job in Quality Risk Management and provide customers with better products and services.

Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)

  • PSI, performed when goods are 100% completed and ready for shipment, protects importers from international trade risks. Our inspector randomly checks samples of your finished goods, adhering to the international statistical standard: ISO2859-1.
  • Finished products are confirmed in full compliance with each customer’s specifications.
  • PSI covers product quantity, functions, safety, type, color, general appearance, size and outer packaging, etc. After inspection, customers will receive an inspection report attached with particular photographs for their final decision.

In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)

IPQC is materials/components quality in-process inspections to ensure the specification requirements fitted.

During Production Inspection (DUPRO)

Inspectors picked up samples from the production line or inventory during production. We take on the responsibility of checking whether workflow fits the operation guidance and product quality meets the client’s requirements. In addition we also inspect the factories’ production capacity, internal quality control, and material control.
